Welcome to the Splinting Application Principles in Preparation for the NBCOT Examination Course Content Page! Below is the course content provided to accompany the in-person splinting seminar on Wednesday, April 12th. Course content is inclusive of foundational background information on the principles of the hand and splinting presented in video format, demonstrative video examples for fabricating a variety of splints, and a PDF quick-reference guide library for types of splints indicated based on a variety of diagnoses.
After the in-person splinting seminar, please complete the 20-question competency post-test located at the end of the module. A passing score of 80% is required, however retakes are allowed to achieve this score.
