The OT Help Desk is a standalone product designed to help you pass the boards. The Foundational Videos, included in the Gold Packages and OTA Prep Package, cover all the content that OT students need to know for the boards. These all-video sessions address content ranging from Pediatrics to Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, and Practice & Administration. Each set of Foundational Videos includes Pre-Test and Post-Test questions in video format, providing a comprehensive study tool.
  • In the Gold Packages, there are pre-recorded advanced sessions for each topic (40 total), available on the course page for flexible, self-paced learning.
  • In the OTA Prep Package, there are over 15 pre-recorded advanced sessions uploaded to the course page, allowing you to complete sessions at your own pace.

Each package (Gold, Fast Track, OTA Prep) includes a comprehensive resource library. These resources are categorized by topic and can be found at the end of each section (e.g., CVA PDFs can be found at the end of the topics on CVAs). The resource files are comprehensive, based on NBCOT domains, and are downloadable and printable.

  • The Gold Packages offer up to 10 hours per week of group tutoring sessions via Open Sessions and Topic Sessions. Four of these hours are pre-recorded for flexible access, while six hours are conducted live via Zoom. These sessions focus on learning strategic processes for improving high-level clinical reasoning.
  • The OTA Prep Package offers a weekly 75-minute live group session open to all OTA Prep subscribers. During the session, multiple-choice and multi-select questions are reviewed, typically with a pediatric expert and CHT present. The focus is on how to approach questions from a clinical reasoning perspective.

Yes, answers to every question are included in each OT Help Desk package, and unlimited retakes allow for continuous learning and improvement. Test scores can be viewed at any time. Simply click on “progress report” on the home page, then select the drop-down arrow for your course to view test scores. Clicking on the icon under “statistics” provides a breakdown of each question, your response, and the correct answer.
