- The OT Help Desk is a standalone product and will get the job done and help you pass the boards. BUT Dr. Connelly insists that if you can afford it, it is wise to stick to OT Help Desk for studying and review of content using the comprehensive resource library files included in the Gold, Fast Track, and OTA Prep packages while using other products in addition to OT Help Desk for supplemental questions. No one product on the market is a perfect fit.
- You can join any product (Gold, Fast Track, or OTA Prep) at any time in the process.
- These are included as part of the Gold Packages and the OTA Prep Package. The Foundational videos include all the content that OT students need to know when studying for the boards. It is all-video sessions that address content from Peds to Physical Disability, Mental Health, and Practice & Administration information. Each set of Foundational Videos also includes Pre-Test and Post Test questions for each topic in a video format. The Foundational Videos include everything you need to know under one umbrella.
- In the Gold Packages there are pre-recorded versions of advanced sessions for each topic (40 total) uploaded to the course page. This allows flexibility to complete sessions at your own pace.
- In the OTA Prep Package there are over 15 pre-recorded versions of advanced sessions uploaded to the course page. This allows flexibility to complete sessions at your own pace.
- Each Package (Gold, Fast Track, OTA Prep) includes a comprehensive resource library.
- The resources are categorized by topic and they can be found at the end of each section (Example: CVA PDFs can be found at the end of the topics on CVAs). These resource files are comprehensive and based on the NBCOT domains. They are downloadable and printable.
- The Gold packages offer up to 10 hours per week of group tutoring sessions via Open Sessions and Topic Sessions. Four of these hours are pre-recorded for flexible access, while six hours are conducted live via Zoom. The focus of the sessions is on learning strategic processes for improving high-level clinical reasoning.
- The OTA Prep offers 1 weekly 75-minute live group session open to all OTA Prep subscribers. During the session multiple choice and multi-select questions are reviewed, and there is typically a pediatric expert and CHT present. The focus of the sessions is on how to approach questions from a clinical reasoning perspective.
- Your subscription grants you access to the board preparation materials, including but not limited to practice questions and quizzes/tests, resource library files, and video content, for the duration of your subscription period. Activation begins on the day of purchase.
- The 40-Day Gold Classic Subscription is valid for 40 days from the date of activation.
- The 120-Day Gold Classic Subscription is valid for 120 days from the date of activation.
- The Gold Guarantee Subscription grants continuous access until you pass the NBCOT exam, or the service is discontinued.
- The 15-Day Fast Track is valid for 15 days from the date of activation.
- The 30-Day Fast Track is valid for 30 days from the date of activation.
- The 50-Day Fast Track is valid for 50 days from the date of activation.
- The 90-Day Fast Track is valid for 90 days from the date of activation.
- An answer to every question is included in each package on the OT Help Desk, and unlimited retakes allow for continuous learning and improvement.
- Test scores are able to be viewed at any time – click on “progress report” on the home page, then click the drop-down arrow for your course – you should be able to view test scores there. If you click on the icon under “statistics”, you will be provided with a breakdown of each question, your response, and the correct response.
